Tetiana Hneniuk creates unique calligraphic artworks that harmoniously combine calligraphy and graphic art as a form of visual expression. These creations offer a captivating alternative to traditional painting, blending the beauty of handwritten letters with artistic composition.
Her works draw on a variety of historical and contemporary calligraphic styles, including Old Slavonic vyaz, Roman capitals, Italic script, Uncial and Copperplate. Each piece reflects Tetiana\u2019s mastery of these styles, reimagining their classical elegance in a modern artistic context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The work contains an excerpt from Alexander Pushkin\u2019s ballad \u201cThe Song of the Wise Oleg\u201d \u2014 a historical poem based on the legend of the Grand Duke of Kiev \u2014 Oleg.

The Life<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The text is an excerpt from the story by M. Kotsiubynsky “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors”. In this excerpt, human life is compared to the fleeting blossoming of a cherry tree: “For what is our life? Like a sparkle in the sky, like a cherry blossom\u2026 unpretentious and timeless.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

simple, but it is the most difficult calligraphic style. It is

every fraction of a second
during writing its angle and
