Life unfolds in such a strange way.
Moments and details from the past suddenly echo in the present \u2014 coincidences? Accidents?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than three years ago, when I first came to Athens, I lived not far from the Melina Mercouri Cultural Center (\u03a0\u03bf\u03bb\u03b9\u03c4\u03b9\u03c3\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03cc \u039a\u03ad\u03bd\u03c4\u03c1\u03bf \u039c\u03b5\u03bb\u03af\u03bd\u03b1 \u039c\u03b5\u03c1\u03ba\u03bf\u03cd\u03c1\u03b7). I used to walk around that building, fascinated by it. Once a hat factory, its stone walls stirred my imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At that time, arriving in Athens under the stress of war, emigration \u2014 or simply, uncertainty \u2014 I actually wanted to give up calligraphy. I thought: if I\u2019m starting a new life, maybe it should be from a clean slate. But thanks to the support of my colleagues, I didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And now, on November 11, an exhibition opened in that very building \u2014 and I was invited to take part with my calligraphy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition brings together artists from Ukraine, Greece, and Georgia \u2014 three countries that are close to my heart. It is held under the auspices of the Embassy of Ukraine in Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once again, a huge thank you to everyone involved in organizing the first large-scale exhibition of Ukrainian artists in Greece.
I truly hope this becomes a beautiful tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
