Last year I was ready to give up calligraphy. The turning point in my life negatively affected my inspiration. And at that very moment I received a helping hand from The Art of Letters – an invitation to be part of a team of calligraphers who will work in a style that is unusual for them. I didn’t know what I was agreeing to, but I was sure that it would be interesting. With our mentor Marina Soria we made an incredible art journey that lasted almost a year. For you, its result is my three artworks presented at this exhibition. And for me – a lot of discoveries and insights about art, approach to calligraphy, composition and much more. I will think about Marina’s words and ideas again and again.
