If there is a style in calligraphy that can take on various forms and shapes, then this is Vyaz.
This style of writing was used in icon painting, for writing titles in books and for creating solemn inscriptions.
I love Vyaz for its ornamentality, originality and ligatures, which sometimes pose real intellectual challenges for a calligrapher.
In this course, we will learn the basic shapes of letters in Vyaz, learn how to build ligatures correctly. And get acquainted with the options for decorating letters. To pass this course, you do not need skills in calligraphy, but it is desirable to speak Ukrainian or Russian or at least know the Cyrillic alphabet.
