With a great pleasure I conduct practical calligraphy workshops in a place convenient for you.
At the workshop, we will get acquainted with the ancient and at the same time very relevant art of writing, find out why modern people need calligraphy, why it is more useful to write with a nib than with a pen, learn some interesting facts about the history of writing.
You will get knowlage how to work with a nib and ink, understand how to write letters beautifully.
We will spend these 3-4 hours immersed in a state of calm and harmony.
Let’s try to imagine ourselves in the place of a medieval scribe or an aristocrat of the late 18th century.
At your request, we can do “Getting Started with Calligraphy” workshop or get acquainted with the basics of the following styles of writing:
The room in which classes will be held should be well lit and equipped with stable tables and chairs.
I draw your attention to the fact that calligraphy is not easy to learn, so my workshops are only for adults.
The maximum number of people is 10. There may be more students, but I would like to pay more attention to each of them.
To participate in workshop, you do not need to have any calligraphic experience. The program is suitable for beginners.
At the end of the workshop, you will take with you mini worksheets and the necessary knowledge to continue studying on your own!
